Alokesh Lahiri popularly known as Bappi Lahiri died in Mumbai. He was 69. He was a famous Indian singer and composer. He was popular in the 1980s and 1990s with filmi soundtracks such as Wardat, Disco Dancer, Namak Halaal, Sharaabi, Naya Kadam, Masterji, Bewafai, Maqsad, Suraag, Insaaf Main Karoonga,Dance Dance, Commando, Saaheb, Gang Leader, Sailaab.
