Light layers to give warmth
Put a layer underneath your toddler's outerwear so that it can trap the warmth. You can choose top from a wide range i.e. from Merino wool, cotton or polypropylene, keeping in mind your child sensitive skin.
Go for a winter jacket
You can choose a good winter jacket for your toddler. It should not be too heavy for your toddler as it can restrict the movement of your child. If you wish you can keep the zips open to make the diaper change or potty break easier. Ensure that the cuffs should fit tightly around the wrist so that cold can't creep in. Adjustable cuffs were good as you can adjust it to not too tight or not too loose fit.
Using mittens instead of gloves
For your toddler you can choose mittens instead of gloves.Mittens are easier to slip on. As mittens keep fingers together, they keep hands warmer.
Hat is essential
Hats are essential for toddlers during winter. A Close fitting hat is better for head heating. A soft wool knitted or a fleece-lined cotton cap with ear flaps is best and it will be even better if it fastens under the chin.
Socks to keep little feet warm
Go for woolen socks. These socks will keep your toddler's feet warm.
